His strong academic background, which includes a BTM, LLB, MBA, and MPA, gives him a wide-ranging view on destination marketing and economic development. He built his deep understanding of the travel industry from the inside out, with a foundational background in the aviation sector working for two prestigious carriers in Macao SAR before joining in Macao Government Tourism Office since 2007. He was in the role of tourism promotion in Mainland and international markets, as well as a coordinator of organizing big events. His profound understanding of the core elements across the tourism industrial chain has laid a solid foundation for his continued dedication to the tourism and MICE industries. Now, Mr. Lam applies his expertise to the public sector as the Head of the Tourism and MICE Division in the Industrial Development Bureau of Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Co-operation Zone in Hengqin. His broad experience covers the strategic promotion of the destination and the organization of high-profile tourism and MICE events, driving growth and partnership in one of the region's most dynamic economic zones.
