Svend Leirvaag is Amadeus IT Group’s Vice President for Industry & Regulatory Affairs, heading its government and institutional engagements globally. He is a highly respected travel industry expert with broad international travel industry experience from aviation, travel technologies, distribution, and hospitality. Svend has a master’s degree in business and started his career as a management trainee in Scandinavian Airlines, since then working in both management and consulting capacities across the travel industry. Svend is a Norwegian national and based at Amadeus’ global headquarters in Madrid.
