Jin Weidong is Director-General of Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism. With over 20 years of experience in tourism administration experience on his belt, he was previously Deputy Director-General of Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Deputy Director- General of Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Tourism and Park Service, Deputy Director and then Director of Nanjing Municipal Tourism Commission, achieving and witnessing the municipality’s leapfrog tourism development. Adapting to new trend, Mr. Jin is actively exploring and applying the theories of tourism integration with culture to promoting the high-quality development of Nanjing tourism industry. Mr. Jin holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Natural Geography from Nanjing University.
