Guo Guangchang is Chairman of Fosun International and Co-founder of Fosun. 
In 1992, Mr. Guo and four of his classmates jointly founded Fosun with 38,000 RMB start-up capital. Today, Fosun has become a technology-driven consumer group, with total assets of RMB 715.7 billion (c.US$ 102.6 billion) as of 31 December 2019. 

As a global company rooted in China, Fosun’s vision is creating a global happiness ecosystem fulfilling the needs of one billion families in health, happiness and wealth. Now, Fosun, ranked the 371st on Forbes 2020 Global 2000 World’s Largest Public Companies, has an extensive footprint spanning over 50 countries and regions employing over 74,000 people.

Mr. Guo graduated from Fudan University with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy in 1989.
