Gloria Guevara is a seasoned executive with 35 years of leadership in Travel and Tourism across both public and private sectors. As Mexico´s Minister of Tourism, she led the inclusion of Travel and Tourism for the first time in the G20 Leaders´ Declaration and launched the “National Agreement for Tourism”.
She served as President and CEO of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), becoming the global private sector´s leading voice during COVID-19 crisis. She later held the role of Chief Special Advisor to Saudi Arabia´s Ministry of Tourism and has worked for major corporations including Sabre Holdings, NCR, Harvard, and served as CEO of Sabre Mexico.
Gloria has held board positions with HSBC Mex, PLAYA, Amex GBT, and other prominent organizations, she currently sits on the Advisory Board of Arsenale Group. She is a member of the World Economic Forum´s Global Agenda and an advisory member of an NGO advocating against human trafficking and child explotation.
