Edward Chung Nin Keung is the Principal Investment officer of IFC covering Manufacturing, Agribusiness & Services in Asia and the Pacific. This includes IFC’s lending and equity investments in the tourism sector in emerging markets, a sector where IFC provided over US$3 billion in equity and debt financing to more than 300 projects globally. IFC is a member of the World Bank Group and is the largest global development institutions focused exclusively on the private sector and is working with private enterprises in about 100 countries and uses its capital, expertise, and influence to create markets and opportunities in developing countries. In fiscal year 2022, IFC committed a record $32.8 billion to private companies and financial institutions in developing countries.
