Ms. Winnie W.K. Chiu, BBS, JP, is Joint Managing Director and Executive Director of Far East Consortium, the Chairperson and Executive Director of Dorsett Hospitality International, and the Chairman of AGORA Hospitality Group Co., Ltd. As of January 2024, the portfolio of the major shareholder of Dorsett’s parent company, FEC, together with Dorsett’s strategic partners, owns/manages/has developed over 60 hotel properties across 26 cities worldwide through different structures. Winnie advocates the build-out of Greater Bay Area’s new economy ecosystem, and supports start-up enterprises and young entrepreneurs in the technology, healthcare and ESG sectors. She is a General Partner of Beyond Ventures, which was founded in 2017 and already invested in 46 tech startups, including 32 well-known overtures that are related to Hong Kong (SenseTime, SmartSens, Prenetics, Yoho, HKTaxi and GNiiB). Beyond Ventures is also the most active and successful partner of the Hong Kong Government’s Innovation & Technology Venture Fund, a tech ventures investment partnership scheme of the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau. Winnie is also an investor and Advisory Committee Member of Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund (Greater Bay Area), and an investor and Investment Committee Member of Astera Capital Fund. Giving back to society, Winnie has been serving the community of Hong Kong since 2010, with focus on youth, education, medical and health, as well as arts and culture.
