Chairman of Spring Airlines
Wang Yu joined Spring Airlines in 2008. Currently Chairman of Spring Airlines, he was previously served as the Airlines’ Vice President and President. From 2002 to 2008, he successively worked in various globally-renowned consultancies including Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, BearingPoint Management & Technology Consultants and Hewitt Associates. Mr. Wang is also a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Executive Committee of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and Vice President of Shanghai Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, among all. From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Wang studied at Southern Illinois University and earned a Master’s degree in Economics and an Master of Business Administration.

In collaboration with the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, this session will highlight Chinese private enterprise’s contribution to the Greater Bay Area and how the development of diverse tourism experiences converges with President Xi Jinping’s beautiful life concept. In this session, leaders from Chinese private enterprises will explore the development of “new” tourism types in China through sharing best practices from various approaches such as product design, marketing, and implementation. What are the latest developments in building a diversified tourism sector? How can companies adapt solutions to the ever-changing consumer market? How can a diversified tourism sector support and contribute to well-being and the realization of a beautiful and sustainable life?
