A Law and Administration Graduate, Celso Sabino de Oliveira is from Belém, located in the amazon State of Pará. A public servant and certified tax auditor by the State Finance Department, Sabino began his public career serving as a State Congressman (2011 to 2012 and 2015 to 2018). At the State level, he also held positions as State Secretary of Labor, Employment and Income (2012 to 2013) and President of the Institute of Metrology (2013 to 2014). Elected as Federal Congressman for two terms (2018 and 2022), his work in the Chamber of Deputies has been primarily on committees related to economy, taxation and regional development. In 2021, Sabino was rapporteur for the Income Tax reform in the Chamber of Deputies, playing an important role in the discussion and preparation of the project. In 2022, the Congressman was elected as the new president of the Mixed Budget Committee (CMO) by acclamation. Celso Sabino was the first person from Pará to preside over the Commission.
