Mr. Antonello de Medici has a long-standing professional experience in the hospitality sector, having held numerous Senior management positions in the most important hotel chains in the world. After graduating in Law at “La Sapienza University” of Rome, Mr. de Medici was Human Resources Manager at Campari Groups Milan, Bols Wessanen and Boario –Danone waters. In 1996 he started his career within the luxury hotel chain Starwood Hotel & Resort, where he was designated Human Resources Director for Italy and Malta, Master Black Belt, Six Sigma Southern Europe, Master Cluster General Manager Florence (2 Luxury Hotels) and from 2008 to 2016 he was Area Managing Director Venice (6 Hotels) and General Manager at Hotel Danieli The Luxury Collection. From 2017 to 2020 he also held the position of Area Managing Director at the Marriott Venice and of General Manager at the St. Regis Venice. In 2020 he was appointed as General Manager at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice Hotel and Conference Center. Since 2022, Mr. Antonello de Medici is Group Director of Operations (COO) at Rocco Forte Hotels (Rome & London), one of the world’s most renowned luxury hotel chains. Mr. de Medici is also Board Member of the Italian association “Federalberghi” and Advisor Master Hospitality at LUISS University in Rome.
