Secretary of Coordination and Tourism Investment Secretariat of State For Tourism of Argentina
Sebastián Slobayen is Secretary of Coordination and Tourism Investment of Ministry of Tourism of Argentina. He is responsible for public investment policies development, promotion and incentives to private investments in the tourism sector, and coordination with multilateral and financial institutions. Before, Mr. Slobayen was Secretary of Institutional Coordination and Planning of Corrientes Province, Argentina. Mr. Slobayen worked in different Latin American countries as consultant in public and private investment and development projects. He also acted as consultant for the United Nations Development Programme and Argentina Federal Investment Council. He assumed managerial and consultancy positions in many companies and projects on organizational strategies, investment, marketing and internationalization in Argentina, South America and Southeast Asia. He coordinated institutional projects on strategic planning in different universities and faculties, and is a university professor in Argentina, Paraguay and Colombia. Mr. Slobayen is an economist and magister in MBA programmes. In addition to his Master of Business Administration degree, he also completed his postgraduate studies in Public Policies Management and Control; and in Public Policies and Regional Integration in INDES BID and Harvard Kennedy School.
