Dr. Jia Jiaya is an AI expert, the Distinguished Scientist and Founding Executive Director of Tencent YouTu X-Lab, and professor at Department of Computer Science and Engineering of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was a visiting scholar at Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and Intel. Dr. Jia and his colleagues published 150+ papers in top AI conferences and journals, led 100+ patents, and delivered 80+ keynote talks in major academic and industrial conferences. In 2018, Dr. Jia was elected as an IEEE fellow for his remarkable contribution to computational imaging. His team is now developing cutting-edge AI techniques for next-generation intelligent medical diagnosis systems, manufacturing industry elevation, autonomous driving and smart car platforms, and AI-assistive social good.
