Renata Pindžo

Deputy Minister of Trade, Tourism & Telecommunications, Republic Of Serbia

Renata Pindžo has been Deputy Minister of Trade, Tourism & Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia in charge of the tourism sector since August 2014. From 2008 to 2014, she was Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development and at the Ministry of Finance and Economy. She has also been a member of the National Council for the Development of Tourism in the Republic of Serbia since 2013. Prior to beginning her public career, Ms. Pindžo worked for Deloitte with over 13 years of experience in management consulting and fnancial advisory services for domestic and international companies and organizations including fnancial institutions and local municipalities.

Ms. Pindžo is also Associate Professor of Investment Management and Investment Decision Process at the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration (FEFA) in Belgrade. She was engaged in the World Bank’s research and market analysis projects related to restructuring and improving competitiveness of the Serbian economy, cooperating with international institutions such as the United States Agency for International Development, European Agency for Reconstruction, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Department for International Development, and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit on complex projects of restructuring the Serbian economy. She is the author of over 50 scientifc papers.

Ms. Pindžo graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, where she obtained a Master’s degree in 2003. In May 2011, she obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree.
