Chief Executive Officer, Budapest Airport
Jost Lammers has been Chief Executive Offcer and Member of the Board of Directors of Budapest Airport since 1 December 2007. Under his leadership, Budapest Airport was awarded the Best Airport in Eastern Europe by Skytrax for four consecutive years since 2014. Mr. Lammers started his career in the automotive industry in 1994 and joined HOCHTIEF in 1996. Working for HOCHTIEF AirPort, he served as Senior Asset Manager of Athens International Airport from 1998 to 2001. He was promoted to Divisional Manager and Director of Düsseldorf Airport and concurrently Member of the Supervisory Board of Mönchengladbach Airport from 2001 to 2004. He joined Flughafen Düsseldorf Ground Handling GmbH as Managing Director Commercial in 2004 and was appointed as Chairman of the Management Board in 2005.
Mr. Lammers studied Business Administration and Economics at the University of Bayreuth, the University of San Diego, and the University of Witten/Herdecke, and graduated in Economics from the University of Witten/Herdecke. In 2016, he was awarded the prestigious accolade of “Expat CEO of the Year Award” by the Budapest Business Journal and the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency for his notable and successful management of Budapest Airport.
Mr. Lammers is also serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Hamburg Airport since 2016.
