Ministerial Commissioner for International Tourism Relations, Hungary
Emese Boros was appointed as Ministerial Commissioner for International Tourism Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary (MFAT) in July 2017. Previously, she worked as a Chief Advisor of Foreign Affairs and Trade to the Chief Executive Officer of Hungarian Tourism Agency Ltd., the national tourism organization, responsible for marketing and development projects. Her main responsibilities included the representation of tourism governance at international forums and liaising between the Embassies of Hungary abroad, MFAT and the Agency.
Besides her portfolio in international tourism relations, Ms. Boros has a 15-year career in legal service. A lawyer by profession, she acted as a political advisor at various governmental institutions, most importantly worked as Foreign Policy Advisor at the Prime Minister’s Office of Hungary.
